Do you provide childcare?

Yes! We have three classes for children each Sunday geared to communicate God's Word at age-appropriate levels including a 0-2 nursery, a 3-5 class, and a 6-10 class. Youth 11 and older are in the 10:30am Sunday morning worship service. We encourage parents to make use of these options but they are also welcome to keep their children with them in the service. Please visit here for more information on children's ministry.

Do you make any accommodations for nursing mothers?

Yes! We provide a private Mother’s Room where the 10:30am service is livestreamed.

How do people dress?

Some choose to dress more formal (e.g. suit and tie) and other choose to dress more casually (e.g. jeans and a t-shirt). But many dress somewhere in between these two ends of the spectrum. Scripture is clear that God is far more concerned with the inner attitude of our hearts than with the outer clothing that we wear (1 Samuel 16:6-7; Matthew 15:1-20). However, what we choose to wear should be a reflection of the priority of worship and the desire to walk in love toward our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Do you offer adult Sunday School classes?

Yes! Each Sunday at 9:15am all are invited to join us for a weekly class which we call Grace Equip. One of the important jobs of any pastor is, “to equip the saints for the work of the ministry,” Ephesians 4:12. These Bible-rich classes are designed to help believers grow in their faith and to have a well-rounded knowledge of God. Please note that, currently, we do not offer childcare for this class but children are welcome to attend Grace Equip with their parents.

How does someone become a member of your church?

At GBC, we believe that God's Word makes membership in the local church a priority both for the people and for the pastors. To become a member you must:

  1. Be a Christian.
  2. Attend membership classes.
  3. Have an interview with an elder, and give your testimony.
  4. Be baptized as a believer.
  5. Sign the Membership Covenant.

Additional details on membership at GBC can be found here.

What are some of the various ministries of your church?

Men's Ministry | Women's Ministry | Children's Ministry

Fellowship Groups:  We desire everyone who calls Grace Bible Church home to be in a Fellowship Group. This is where discipleship, fellowship, and prayer continues throughout the week. We currently have (4) Fellowship Groups that are split up into the following regions: Hamilton, Purcellville, Waterford, and Winchester. For more information please visit Fellowship Groups.

Student Ministries:  We currently do not have a formal student or college ministry with regular meetings. But we do have periodic events for the teens at GBC. And we also encourage youth and college students to participate in our men’s and women’s ministries. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the church office for more information.
