Our Constitution includes the “What we Believe” Section, plus the following.
As a local body of Christ, we now establish this constitution as a public statement of what we believe to be the mind of Christ in both doctrine and practice. We look beyond this document to the Lord Jesus Christ to empower and unify us in His love.
Article I – Name
This congregation of believers shall be called GRACE Bible Church (hereinafter referred to as “the Church”).
Article II – Purposes
As a body of believers, we:
Exalt God – We purpose to reflect the grace of God back to Him by loving, honoring and worshiping Him. (Mat 22:36-37)
Edify Believers – We purpose to apply the grace of God to each other by building up the body of Christ through fellowship, discipleship and service. (Heb 10:24-25)
Evangelize the Lost- We purpose to extend the grace of God to the world by proclaiming the Good News of Christ. (Mat 28:19-20)
As a corporate entity:
The Church is organized and shall be operated exclusively as a nonprofit Church, for the religious, charitable and educational purposes stated herein including but not limited to licensing, ordaining and overseeing ministers of the gospel, worship, evangelism, missions, ministry to the poor and needy, discipleship and fellowship according to Biblical principles.. The Church is not organized for profit and it is not authorized to issue capital stock.
